Matchday Safety Steward
Derby County Football Club are recruiting for Matchday Safety Stewards to join our matchday operations.
In a recent EFL inspection and survey, 92% of Derby County’s supporters ranked the safety of our stadium as very good or good. The role of Matchday Safety Steward is pivotal in ensuring the overall matchday experience is one to remember, providing excellent levels of customer service, whilst ensuring the safety of all who attend our stadium. As a Steward at Derby County, you will be directly involved in engaging with supporters including offering direction, patrolling the grounds, dealing with problems as they arise, and providing an overall safe environment for all home and away supporters to enjoy. Excellent communication and customer service skills are required for this role together with a positive and courteous manner.
Due to the nature of this role, applicants are required to be at least 18 years of age.
Rate of pay is £8.21 per hour rising to £9.19 per hour on successful completion of the NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety qualification, which is a compulsory requirement of this post.
