Derby County Community Trust has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced, passionate, and committed individual to join their Schools and Coaching department.

The successful candidate will be involved in delivering, planning, and promoting high quality sessions as part of our schools’ programmes, Holiday Courses, Weekend Club and Talent Identification Programme, predominantly coaching children aged 4-11. The successful candidate must be highly motivated and demonstrate the ability to work calm under pressure. Great communication and organisational skills are key.

A requirement for the role is to be a certificated FA Level 2 coach or higher. The role is full time based on 35 hours per week. The successful candidate must have the ability and commitment to work outside normal office hours, at evenings and weekends. The candidate must also have a full UK driving license and access to a car.

The salary for this role is between £15,000 – £16,500 per annum, dependant on experience.

Please produce a 5-10-minute video of you delivering a ‘virtual coaching session’ on a topic of your choice. This should include a piece to camera introducing yourself and your session as well as explanations and demonstrations of the practices and progressions you would make during the session. Please deliver this session as if it were aimed at primary aged children and use it as an opportunity to show your coaching manner, communication, and enthusiasm.
