Pride Park Stadium is conveniently based just off the A52 (Brian Clough Way) and is only 10 minutes from Junction 25 of the M1. The stadium itself is within walking distance of Derby Railway Station which is located on the outskirts of Derby City Centre.

Important Information regarding roadworks on A52

Wyvern Way off slip from A52 westbound (towards Derby city centre) – closed from 3 June 2019 for 13 weeks

Vehicles travelling to Pride Park/Wyvern from the A52 Westbound should continue on the A52 towards Pentagon Island, taking the second exit onto Eastgate and Holmes Bridge (A601), turning left at the traffic lights and then keeping right onto Station Approach and Pride Parkway (A6), turning left at the second roundabout to Derwent Parade.

Vehicles travelling from Wyvern/Pride Park will be diverted along Derwent Parade to Pride Parkway (A6), continuing along Station Approach to Cock Pitt, turning right at the traffic lights to Holmes Bridge (A601) around Darwin Place to Eastgate and Pentagon Island.

Monday 12th – Friday 16th August
Off-peak lane closure on the A52 eastbound carriageway, from 9.30am to 3.30pm each weekday, from Monday 12th – Friday 16th August.
The inside lane will be closed between Pentagon Island and Wyvern whilst safety barrier works continue.

Monday 19th August – Friday 23rd August
There will be the following overnight closures on the westbound and eastbound carriageways, to allow for the installation of the safety barrier and signage works.

8.00pm – 6.00am - Westbound closures (from 11.00pm on Tuesday 20th August, due to DCFC game)
Westbound carriageway will be closed from Raynesway to Pentagon Island
Diversion route – Raynesway, Derby Road, Nottingham Road.

10.00pm – 6.00am - Eastbound closures (from 11pm on Tuesday 20th August, due to DCFC game)
Eastbound carriageway will be closed from Pentagon Island to Raynesway, including eastbound on-slip at Wyvern
Diversion route – Nottingham Road, Derby Road for eastbound closure, and Derwent Parade, Pride Parkway, Holmes Bridge, East Gate, Pentagon Island, Nottingham Road, Derby Road for the on-slip closure.

The road will be re-opened earlier if works are completed ahead of the scheduled times.

Such examples are: National rail services to Derby, car-sharing with as many fellow supporters as possible, walking and cycling, matchday bus services to Pride Park, matchday park & ride services and Supporters’ Club coach services.

For supporters unable to travel to the ground in these ways, there is ample matchday parking around Pride Park Stadium, with discounts available for people car sharing in South Car Park A or B and DW Sports car park (see map below).
