Aaron Eyoma signed a one-year deal at Derby County at the beginning of the 2018/19 after impressing on trial at the back end of the previous season.
His move came after he caught the eye in two of the young Rams’ Premier League 2 Division 1 fixtures at the end of the 2017/18 campaign, in which he played a key role in the latter, a pivotal 1-0 win over West Ham United which helped secure top division status for another season.
The wideman had built a reputation for being a pacey and exciting attacking player as he progressed through Arsenal’s academy, the club he signed from.
Eyoma spent the second half of the 2016/17 season on loan with the Dutch second division side, FC Volendam where he made nine appearances, starting in the final two. The winger scored in a 3-0 victory over SV Huizen after coming off the bench.
