Archie Brown is now in his first year as a permanent member of Derby County’s Under-23 squad after two memorable years as a scholar.
Brown was the star of the show as the Rams’ Under-18s sealed the Premier League title at Pride Park in May 2019.
Brown scored a hat-trick to help his side to a 5-2 win against Arsenal in the National Final, and the treble took his overall goal contributions for the season to 14 in all competitions.
Seven goals and seven assists is a seriously impressive return for a player that spent large parts of the season at full-back and wing-back, before starting as a forward later in the campaign.
Brown also made his first appearance for the Under-23s in his first year as a scholar to add to an impressive list of accomplishment.
His 2019/20 was impressive too, notching 11 goals and two assists from 18 matches for the Under-18s by playing as a winger.
Brown played 12 times for the Under-23s too, four of which were starts, while his eligibility for the Under-19s allowed him to play in the UEFA Youth League.
He scored three times and racked up one assist from his six games in Derby’s impressive journey in the competition.
