Fikayo Tomori arrived at Pride Park Stadium to become Frank Lampard’s sixth signing at Derby County in the 2018 summer window.
The 20-year-old joined the club on a season-long loan from Chelsea and despite his tender years, he has a wealth of experience at both youth and senior level.
Tomori worked extensively with Jody Morris during his time with Chelsea and has been well known to Lampard due to his time growing up in the Chelsea Academy.
The central defender was part of Brighton & Hove Albion’s promotion in 2017 as he featured eight times in the latter part of the season, whilst he spent the whole of the 2017/18 season on loan with Hull City.
The England under-21 international netted his first goal for the Rams in the Carabao Cup first round victory against Oldham Athletic in August 2018.
