Goalkeeper Harry Halwax is now in his first year with Derby County’s Under-23s after completing two years as a scholar in the Academy with the Under-18s.
After moving to Derby from Leixlip United in Ireland in 2018, he spent the first-year as a scholar as third-choice goalkeeper behind Sam French and Bradley Foster.
In the 2019/20 season, he stepped up to second choice behind Foster and went on to make ten appearances for the Under-18s.
Dublin-born Halwax has been capped by the Republic of Ireland at various youth international levels in the early stages of his career.
His time at Derby has also seen him work alongside Ireland legend Shay Given, who is the Rams’ Head Goalkeeping Coach.
