Jason Pearcey was appointed as Derby County’s first-team Goalkeeping Coach in January 2021 after Wayne Rooney was installed as the club’s permanent manager.
Pearcey moved up to the first-team coaching staff after several years working with the goalkeepers in the Derby County Academy.
As a player, Pearcey turned out in goal for Mansfield Town, Grimsby Town and Brentford in the EFL during the 1990s before moving into the non-league scene.
Upon retiring, he moved into coaching with goalkeepers to continue his interest in the game.
