After making his Derby County bow during 2017/18, Luke Thomas will be looking for a breakthrough campaign this time around.
The young forward made his debut as a substitute against Queens Park Rangers in November before a further appearance against Bolton Wanderers later in the season.
On numerous occasions, Thomas displayed his quality for Darren Wassall’s Under-23s, with his crucial contribution helping to ensure that the side remained in Premier League 2 - Division 1 for a third successive campaign.
Thomas signed from Cheltenham Town in January 2016, where he had broken into the first team picture as a 16-year-old.
As well as playing for the Derby’s Under-18s during the 2016/17 campaign, he linked up with Gloucester City and impressed heavily on a loan spell until the end of the season.
