Morgan Whittaker had a season to be proud of at Derby County in 2018/19.
The striker scored 24 goals from just 37 appearances for Derby’s Under-18 and Under-23 teams combined.
He also claimed 16 assists, taking his goal contributions for the season to 40.
He played a key role in the Under-18s winning the Under-18 Premier League North and subsequently becoming National Champions with a 5-2 hammering of Arsenal, in which he scored twice, at Pride Park Stadium in May 2019.
He was also capped by England at Under-18 level during the season as a reward for his progress and development.
Under new manager Phillip Cocu he featured with the first-team during pre-season and made his professional debut as a substitute in the side’s 1-0 Carabao Cup First Round win at Scunthorpe United in August 2019.
