Specialist First Team Coach
Twan Scheepers joined Derby County's backroom team in July 2019 following the appointment of Phillip Cocu as the club's new manager.
Scheepers was born in Eindhoven in 1971 and began his senior career as a striker at PSV as an 18-year-old, spending three years at the club before moving on to MVV Maastricht.
Over the next decade, Scheepers played for NAC Breda, Cambuur, SK Lommel and FC Eindhoven, but he suffered badly with injuries - undergoing seven operations on his right knee throughout his career - and retired from playing in 2003.
He made the move into coaching and his switch to Derby came after over a decade working at PSV, primarily with the club’s academy and reserve sides.
