In a game where the floodlights went out, Derby County lit up Carrow Road as they fought back to steal all three points from Norwich City with a 4-3 victory.
Fikayo Tomori and Mason Mount cancelled out goals by Ben Godfrey and Teemu Pukki in the first-half.
The hosts regained the lead again in the second-half through Pukki before a 15-minute delay of game due to a problem with the floodlights. The fate of the match hung in the balance, but the lights came back on for the Rams to rip the game away from Norwich.
Goals from Florian Jozefzoon and Jack Marriott in the final five minutes handed the Rams all three points.
It was tentative opening 20 minutes of the match from the Rams as the home side controlled possession and the match.
Inside the first 10 minutes, Scott Carson had already been called in to action when Onel Hernandez intercepted a pass as Derby tried to play out form the back and found Pukki by the left post who’s shot was denied by Carson.
Play continued mainly in Derby’s half as the Canaries pushed to break the deadlock. Alex Tettey came close with a long-range shot that glanced wide, but it was left-back Godfrey that began the first-half scoring spree.
Marco Stiepermann worked his way down the right of the box before whipping a cross to Godfrey and his first touch was an easy finish.
Six minutes later and Pukki doubled the lead for City as Derby were hit on the counter attack. Mario Vrancic switched to the forward at the edge of the box who fired past Carson.
From there, the Rams showed a wonderful response and within five minutes had pulled one back. Tomori hit a thunderous half volley off a Rams corner that rattled off the crossbar and past Tim Krul. A spectacular second goal of the season for the centre-back.
The game was now in Derby’s hands with an equaliser begging to come. Jack Marriott looked to be the man as he showed his pace to outrun Zimmermann to go one-on-one with Krul but his shot was batted out.
In added time before the break, the ball deflected to Mount off the corner and the midfielder rifled a low shot into the goal.
It was an even start to the second-half with half chances coming at either end. It was Marriott that had the best chance on the 61st minute as he worked brilliantly to find space in the box, but his shot was deflected wide.
Pukki got his second goal to put Norwich ahead again with ten minutes remaining. Hernandez worked out space well in the box and played through to Pukki at the far post who slotted past Carson.
Immediately after, as Derby lined-up to restart and get back into the game players were told to leave the pitch after some of the floodlights cut out.
After a 15 minute delay, a recharged Rams side came back out and took control and a tactical change saw them charge forward.
Jozefzoon grabbed the equaliser when Duane Holmes found him at the back post and the wingman slotted home.
Derby refused to settle for a draw and Marriott gave the Rams the lead in the final minute as he chipped it over Krul to earn all three points.
Carson made a wonderful save in the final seconds before the resulting corner saw a shot rattle off the cross bar.
