Derby County’s Under-18s were unable to continue their unbeaten start to 2022 after falling to a 3-0 defeat at Stoke City in the Under-18 Premier League - North on Saturday afternoon.


Adam Robinson’s side made the short journey across the A50 buoyed by their impressive 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest last Saturday after they stormed back from 2-0 down at half-time to defeat the Reds.

However, after a goalless first half, the Rams fell to defeat against the Potters to lose for the first time in six outings in the league.

All three goals came in the second half with Sam Knowles netting two, while Josh Roney rounded off the scoring late on.

The Under-18s will host Leeds United at Moor Farm Training Ground on Saturday 22nd January (11am) kick-off in their next Under-18 Premier League - North fixture.

Derby County Under-18s: Evans (GK), Brailsford (C), Robinson (Kelly 73), Trialist, Christie, Rutt, Ebiowei, Ibrahim, Brown, Sebagabo, Richards (Nicholas-Davies 76).
