Derby County’s Under-18s exited the 2023/24 Premier League Cup at the Group Stage hurdle following a 2-1 loss at home to Arsenal on Thursday afternoon.

Harrison Dudziak put Arsenal ahead after 11 minutes at Moor Farm Training Ground, but striker Dajaune Brown hit back to equalise for Danny Maye’s side just before the interval.

The contest looked to be heading towards a draw until Ismeal Kabia sealed the win for the Gunners in added time.

Derby are third in Group B with three points from their three fixtures, after also claiming a win over Middlesbrough and a defeat to West Ham United, meaning they won't be able to reach the knockout stages.
