Derby County Under-18s made it four points from their last two matches with a 0-0 draw at home to Middlesbrough in Premier League - North.

Bradley Johnson’s side went into the contest buoyed by getting their first win of the league campaign on the board with a 2-1 success at Burnley last weekend.
Their search for the side’s first home win of the season came against a Middlesbrough side sitting in fourth place in the league table after five matches.
The Rams’ line-up was a youthful one and only six players started from the win at Burnley, meaning several Under-16s and first-year scholars came into the matchday squad.
Derby had the better of the chances in the opening 45 minutes at Moor Farm but couldn’t turn their pressure into goals against a stubborn Boro backline.
Boro upped the ante in the second period, but the two sides ended up cancelling each other out with the spoils shared.
Although it wasn’t the win the Rams wanted, it was their first home point of the campaign to get them up and running on familiar territory.
