Derby County Under-18s extended their unbeaten run in November with a 2-1 win at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers in Under-18 Premier League - North.

Bradley Johnson’s side, after a tough start to the season, went into the clash with Wolves with three wins and two draws to their name in all competitions from their previous six outings.
The Rams’ return to Moor Farm came off the back of last weekend’s enthralling 5-4 comeback victory at Stoke City, storming back from 3-0 and 4-3 down to claim all three points.
Wolves, by contrast, were joint bottom of Premier League - North ahead of kick-off with one win, one draw and six losses from their opening eight league fixtures this term.
The Rams entered the game three places above their opponents, and it was the opening exchanges that brought the game to life.
Wolves took the lead inside two minutes through Kaream Thomas, but there was an instant response from Derby to get back level.
A sweeping move from the resulting kick-off saw Asher Taylor slide Remi Harvey in on the right wing and he fired low and hard into the far corner to make it 1-1.
Derby then enjoyed large spells of possession while Wolves looked content to try and punish them on the break, a pattern which saw both sides enter level at the break.
The Rams looked strong after the break with a flurry of early chances, the best of which fell to Israel Green on 50 minutes as he forced a fine save from Alfie Arnold in the Wolves net.
Green wouldn't be kept out for long as on 65 minutes a well worked set-piece saw Kacey Gill fire a shot from the edge of the box which kindly deflected into the path of Green to poke home from six yards out.
Gill was involved again when he slid Sean Corry in behind late in the second half, but the winger couldn't quite find the back of the net.
Derby showed real character late on with a solid and gritty last ten minutes seeing them over the line to claim the win.
