Derby County’s Jeff Hendrick claimed the FAI Young International Player of the Year Trophy at an Awards Ceremony in Dublin on Sunday evening.
The 23-year-old Republic of Ireland midfielder has been a regular under Martin O’Neill on the international stage during the last year.
Hendrick, a graduate of Derby’s Academy, claimed the Award ahead of fellow Rams team mate Cyrus Christie and Hull City’s Robbie Brady.
He has ten full international caps for his country since making his debut in 2013, following a rise through the ranks for both club and country.
For Derby, Hendrick has made 169 first-team appearances and scored on 23 occasions.
