Watch The Carabao Cup First Round Draw

Derby County will find out their Round One opponents of the newly-branded Carabao Cup this afternoon - and you can watch the draw LIVE right here on dcfc.co.uk.

The draw is being held in Bangkok, Thailand at 1pm (UK time).

Seventy EFL clubs will be in the draw with matches scheduled to take place during the week commencing 7th August 2017.

The draw is also regionalised to minimise travelling time for supporters in the first round with seeding decided by a club’s finishing position in the EFL.

The first round draw is seeded, based on the final league positions of teams from the 2016/17 season, and has been split regionally into north and south groups, with Gary Rowett’s Rams being one of 17 seeded clubs in the 'north' category.

Derby will face one of the following teams: Accrington Stanley, Blackpool, Bury, Carlisle United, Chesterfield, Coventry City, Crewe Alexandra, Doncaster Rovers, Grimsby Town, Lincoln City, Mansfield Town, Morecambe, Notts County, Oldham Athletic, Port Vale, Shrewsbury Town or Walsall.
