Derby County are back in Sky Bet League One action at Pride Park Stadium on Saturday when they take on Cheltenham Town (3pm kick-off).

The Rams are looking to bounce back from the 1-0 midweek defeat to Reading but face a difficult test against a Robins side revitalised under Darrell Clarke.

In the lead-up to the game getting underway, dcfc.co.uk has brought together all the key information you need to know...

Team News

New signing Corey Blackett-Taylor could make his first appearance in the black and white at Pride Park after making his debut as a substitute at Reading following his arrival from Charlton Athletic.

Striker Tyreece John-Jules (hamstring) suffered a severe tear in the defeat against Reading in midweek that will keep him out of action for the forseeable future.

Defender Craig Forsyth (calf) will remain out of action for a few weeks with a calf problem.

Striker Martyn Waghorn (calf) suffered a slight setback in his rehabilitation programme a couple of weeks ago and he is now working his way back to fitness.

Midfielder Korey Smith (knee) is making progress after two months out of action and is increasing his workload but is not yet ready to make his comeback.

Defender Ryan Nyambe remains absent on international duty after Namibia qualified for the knockout stages of the Africa Cup Of Nations tournament this week.

Striker Conor Washington (ankle) is making good progress with his return to fitness but remains out of action.

Long-term absentee Jake Rooney (knee) remains ruled out of action but is making good progress in his rehabilitation work.

Midfielder Tyrese Fornah has missed the last two matches through illness but could come back into contention for Saturday's match.

Pre-Match Thoughts

Head Coach Paul Warne spoke to RamsTV to preview the side's return to Pride Park this weekend.

He said: "It will be a tough game and that is always the problem. The lads know this. Don't worry about the league table, it counts for nothing. We will have to be really good to beat a really good, strong and organised team."

Midfielder Liam Thompson sat down with RamsTV this week after making his first league start since August in midweek.

He said: "As we've been on such a good run, losing one matches always feels like a kick in the teeth. That said, it gives us another opportunity to start another unbeaten run. The lads are still confident, we know we've got to put it right Saturday and get a reaction."
