Striker Martyn Waghorn (calf) is back in training ahead of Saturday's match and could be included in the squad, having been sidelined since early December.

Pre-Match Thoughts

Head Coach Paul Warne spoke to RamsTV to preview the short trip to Barnsley on Saturday.

He said: "To win on Saturday will take everything, because they are a good side. We aren't bad away from home, we'll take a big following, the lads will be right up for it and hopefully we can perform. It's a big game for both clubs, there is no point pretending it isn't."

Striker Dwight Gayle spoke to RamsTV after putting pen-to-paper on a deal until the end of the season earlier this week.

He said: "It's straight into a six-pointer. I know we've got three or four big ones coming up towards the end of the season and they are going to be the most important ones. If we can get off to a good start against Barnsley, it will put us in a good position for the remainder of the season."

Ticket Information

Derby's allocation of tickets for Saturday's match have sold out.

The Rams were handed an increased allocation of 5,017 tickets for the match and these have now completely sold out.

Those fans without a ticket are advised not to make the trip to Barnsley, as they will be unable to gain access to the stadium.

Match Officials

Bobby Madley will referee Saturday's game and will be assisted by Matthew Smith and Carl Fitch-Jackson. Paul Marsden is on Fourth Official duties for the contest.

Madley has officiated 18 games so far this season across all levels of the EFL.

He's distributed 89 yellow cards, one straight red and awarded five penalties.
