PRE-SEASON: Rams To Take On Burton Albion In August

Derby County will contest Burton Albion for the Bass Charity Vase as part of their preparations for the 2026/27 campaign.

The two sides are set to meet at the Pirelli Stadium on Saturday 1st August (3pm kick-off) in the latest battle for the historic trophy.

The Bass Charity Vase is a friendly football tournament which was founded in Burton in 1889, with Derby County lifting the Vase on 20 occasions.

Derby now have confirmed five pre-season fixtures, as well as a week-long camp in Austria, as John Eustace gears his side up for the upcoming Sky Bet Championship season.

The Rams kick off pre-season with a trip to Alfreton Town (Friday 17th July), before facing SC Freiburg (Friday 24th July) during the visit to Austria. Upon their return, they will travel to Mansfield Town (Friday 31st July), Burton Albion (Saturday 1st August), and Rotherham United (Tuesday 4th August).

Ticket information for all five matches will be announced in due course.
