Supported Browsers and Operating Systems

Our website is optimised for accessibility on the latest versions of the following browsers:

Adjusting Text Size and Contrast

To make text easier to read, you can adjust text size in each browser:

Google Chrome

  • Click the three-dots menu in the top-right corner.
  • Go to Settings > Appearance > Font size to adjust the default text size.


Microsoft Edge

  • Click the three-dots menu in the top-right corner.
  • Go to Settings > Appearance > Fonts to select a preferred font size.


Mozilla Firefox

  • Use Ctrl (or Command on Mac) + Plus (+) to increase text size or Ctrl (Command) + Minus (-) to reduce it.


Apple Safari

  • Open Safari on your iPhone.
  • Tap the A symbol in the search field and use the large A to increase text or the small A to decrease it.

Universal Shortcut: For all browsers, you can use Ctrl (Command) + Plus (+) to zoom in and Ctrl (Command) + Minus (-) to zoom out, with Ctrl (Command) + 0 resetting to the default size.

Enhancing Visibility: High Contrast & Dark Mode

For better readability, you can enable High Contrast or Dark Mode:

  • High Contrast Mode: On most devices, go to Settings > Accessibility to turn on high-contrast colours for improved text visibility.
  • Dark Mode: If your device or browser supports Dark Mode, you can activate it for a darker background with lighter text:
  • On iOS: Go to Settings > Display & Brightness and select Dark.
  • On Android: Go to Settings > Display and choose Dark Theme.
  • On Windows: Open Settings > Personalization > Colours and select Dark.
  • On macOS: Go to System Preferences > General and select Dark.

Screen Readers and Assistive Technology

For supporters using screen readers, we support the following:

Read Aloud (Chrome)

  • Install Read Aloud from the Chrome Web Store here.
  • Add it to Chrome, then find it under Extensions in the browser toolbar.


NVDA (Windows)

  • Download NVDA from NV Access
  • Access the User Guide for tips on usage.


VoiceOver (Mac and iOS)

  • Mac Users: Enable VoiceOver through System Preferences > Accessibility > VoiceOver.
  • iPhone/iPad Users: Enable VoiceOver in Settings > Accessibility > VoiceOver.


TalkBack (Android)

  • Android Users: Enable TalkBack in Settings > Accessibility > TalkBack for spoken feedback on your device.

Keyboard Navigation

Our website is designed to be fully navigable by keyboard:

  • Shift + Tab to go backward.

  • Add your preferred language, then select Display Edge in this language.


Mozilla Firefox

1. Go to Settings > General > Language.

2. Choose your language from the dropdown menu.

Apple Safari

1. Go to Apple Menu > System Preferences > Language & Region.

2. Drag and drop your preferred language to the top of the list.
