Defender Charlotte Steggles was an addition to the Derby County Women squad ahead of the start of the 2023/24 campaign.
Steggles joined Derby after a three-year stint with Nottingham Forest, where she was a key player in their FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division title win and League Cup success in the 2022/23 campaign.
She had spells across the East Midlands with Notts County and Leicester City before her time with Forest and subsequent move along Brian Clough Way to join the Ewes.
Steggles made her Derby bow in their 2023/24 season opener on home turf against Wolverhampton Wanderers in August 2023. After establishing herself as an important member of Sam Griffiths’ squad, Steggles was key to the Ewes’ FA Women’s National League Plate win in her first season.
