Jack Perry joined Derby County’s Under-21 squad in the summer of 2024 after completing his two years as a scholar.

He missed a lot of the 2021/22 season with a back injury but his performances over previous years saw him earn a scholarship.

Perry’s most natural position is at right back, but he can also play in midfield if required.

The right-back made 12 appearances in all competitions in the 2022/23 campaign, including two for the Under-21s in Premier League 2.

Perry continued his development further in 2023/24, making 23 appearances in all competitions, including seven for the Under-21s in Premier League 2.

The 2024/25 season saw Perry play regularly for the Under-21s in Premier League 2, Premier League Cup, Central League and Derbyshire Senior Cup. He also scored and claimed an assist in a 4-1 Premier League 2 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in September 2024.
