Striker Justin Oguntolu joined Derby County Under-18s as a first-year scholar in the summer of 2023 before signing his first professional contract in 2025 and moving up to the Under-21s.

The forward joined the Rams at Under-16s level after leaving Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

Oguntolu scored two goals in five appearances for the Under-18s in the 2022/23 campaign whilst still part of the Under-16s group.

He featured heavily for the young Rams in 2023/24 too, making 27 appearances in total including three for the Under-21s. Oguntolu found the net 10 times over the course of the season.

The 2024/25 season was productive for Oguntolu, scoring 13 times and assisting six goals from 22 outings for the Under-18s in the league. He also featured for the Under-21s on a handful of occasions and scored his first Premier League 2 goal in a 2-2 draw against Arsenal near the end of the campaign.
