Young attacker Mia Wheeler became a full-time member of the Derby senior team set-up ahead of the 2025/26 season.

She joined up with the first-team squad after graduating from the Derby County Community Trust’s Female Talent Pathway (FTP) – the club’s women’s youth set-up.

Wheeler was a part of the Under-21s side that lifted the FA Women’s National League Reserve Cup in 2024/25 and having been a member of the FTP’s Under-18s and then Under-21s teams over recent seasons.
