Defender Tom Marriott became a first-year scholar at Derby County ahead of the 2025/26 campaign.

Marriott featured for the Under-18s in the 2024/25 season after impressing at lower age group level and made 14 appearances in the Under-18 Premier League.

He has primarily occupied the right-back position but can also play at the heart of defence and has also been utilised in defensive midfield.
