Derby County’s Under-18s forward Morgan Whittaker has been called up to the England Under-18 squad for their games against the Netherlands, Republic of Ireland and Belgium.

It is the first time Whittaker has been named in the Under-18s squad, though he made three appearances for the Under-16s, including scoring a hat-trick against China in a 4-0 victory, as well as an appearance last year for the Under-17s.

Neil Dewsnip’s side will travel to Spain for three matches in five days at the Pinatar Arena where they will face the Netherlands on Thursday 15th November (6pm), Republic of Ireland on Saturday 17th November (2pm) and Belgium on Monday 19th November (5pm).

Whittaker has made eight appearances for Derby County’s Under-18s so far this season, scoring six goals, as well as two appearances for Darren Wassall’s Under-23s side.
