Derby County will look to build on their midweek victory over Wigan Athletic when they take on Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday at Pride Park Stadium, kick-off 3pm.

It will be the second of four consecutive home games for Frank Lampard’s side. Here dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you will need ahead of the clash with Steve Bruce’s side.

TEAM NEWS…

There are no new injury concerns for Frank Lampard. Tom Lawrence could make a return to action this side of the international break having been side-lined since the match against Ipswich.

However, Mason Mount and Craig Bryson will need until after the break to recover from their respective injuries.

WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY…

Speaking to RamsTV, Lampard said: “There is a positive feeling around the training ground, around the stadium on Tuesday night.

“The reaction the players showed on Tuesday said a lot about them and us as a group, so we need to continue from there.

“We will make no mistake, even though we are pleased with Wigan and the three points, it is a completely different challenge on Saturday and we will have to be ready.

“It is going to be a very difficult game against a team that are in good form. Steve Bruce has seen an upturn in their performance. I watched them against Sheffield United in the derby and they competed really well in a tough match and they have moved up the table.”
