Derby County Community Trust is looking to expand its board of trustees.

The charity is seeking applicants with specific professional backgrounds to supplement existing expertise on the board.

The Community Trust are looking to augment their already strong Board of Trustees, in the areas of Legal and HR, though they welcome applications from all sectors.

They also want their Trustees to be representative of diverse communities so actively encourage applications from ethnic minorities, disabled people and anyone who identifies as part of a community that is under-represented in the charity. Appointments will be made on merit alone.

Simon Carnall, Head of Community, said: “Our charity has grown at a fantastic rate over the last few years, and we now find ourselves at a fantastic point in our history, with more projects being delivered across more communities than ever before.

“Our board is hugely supportive and continues to drive us forwards, and we’re looking for new members to help us grow and develop further.”

Those interested in applying should email Lisa Anderson, HR Manager, on lisa.anderson@dcct.co.uk for a full Information Pack.

Applications will be open until Friday 11th March 2022, with shortlisting and interviews taking place in the following weeks.

Trustees are volunteers who are recompensed for expenses incurred only. They will be expected to attend a quarterly board meeting (evenings) and a further quarterly sub-committee meeting.
