Derby County will stage their first End of Season Awards event in three years on Tuesday 3rd May 2022 at Pride Park Stadium and Derby’s first-team staff and players will all be in attendance.

The 2021/22 season has provided many challenging moments for the Rams both on and off the pitch but, in the face of adversity, the unity right across the club and the city of Derby has shone through.

Wayne Rooney’s side, backed by the club’s loyal supporters, have valiantly fought against the odds in the Championship over the course of the campaign and the End of Season Awards event will offer the opportunity to recognise the players’ efforts.

Despite the challenging circumstances, the season has offered plenty of memorable moments from Rooney’s side.

The night will also cast the spotlight on the Derby County Women with their prestigious Young Player and Player of the Season awards being presented.

And importantly, the evening will also celebrate the achievements of Derby County’s 1971/72 First Division title success under the late Brian Clough and Peter Taylor.

Fifty years on from that remarkable achievement, several of the Rams’ stars from that season, including Roy McFarland, Archie Gemmill, Alan Durban, Alan Hinton, John O’Hare, Colin Todd, Roger Davies, Colin Boulton and Steve Powell will be there in person to take a trip down memory lane and look back on the stunning season which saw Derby crowned as the Champions of England for the first time in their history.

The following awards will be up for grabs on the night:

* Academy Player of the Season 2021/22

* Scholar of the Season 2021/22

* Save of the Season 2021/22

* Derby County Women Young Player of the Season 2021/22
