Derby County's Under-18s got their 2023/24 Premier League - North season started with a draw on the road at Sunderland.

The Rams went behind just after the break when Trey Ogunsugi struck for the hosts, but Derby hit back to equalise through Adisa Osayande midway through the second half.

A dominant centre-half, Osayande has been with the Rams since Under-9s level and has made his way right through the ranks.

He made seven appearances for the Under-18s during the 2022/23 season prior to joining the group on a full-time basis ahead of the 2023/24 campaign as a first-year scholar.
