Derby County’s Under-18s went down 3-1 at Wolverhampton Wanderers in their final away fixture of the 2023/24 season.

Niall McAndrew put the Rams ahead early on, but the home side hit back three times to take maximum points from the Under-18 Premier League - North table.

Republic of Ireland youth international McAndrew opened the scoring after seven minutes to hand Derby a dream start across the Midlands.

However, Daniel Angel Enguru Mangue equalised after 31 minutes, and he went on to find the back of the net three minutes later to turn the contest on its head.

Matheus Mane rounding off the scoring on the hour for the hosts to inflict a rare defeat on the Rams.

Danny Maye’s side will conclude their league campaign with a home fixture against Liverpool at Moor Farm Training Ground on Saturday 11th May (12:30pm kick-off).

Derby County Under-18s: Thompson (GK), Gordon, Gough, Tola (Marriott 79), Banks (Cox 46), Hawkins, Green (Mintus 54), Agustien, Oguntolu, Eames, McAndrew (Allen 46).
