England Under-16 international pens scholarship and professional contract.
Academy prospect Max Lowe has penned scholarship and professional terms with Derby County.
15-year-old Lowe put pen-to-paper with the Club whilst taking in Derby’s first-team fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion at Pride Park Stadium earlier this month.
He was joined on the pitch by Chairman Andy Appleby, incoming Chief Executive Sam Rush, Academy Manager Darren Wassall, his parents and younger brother.
Academy Manager Darren Wassall said: “We’re delighted that Max has committed his future to Derby County and it’s great news for both the Academy and the Club.
“Max is a very promising talent and we’re looking forward to him joining us on a full-time basis next summer.
“He has stepped up to play for the Under 18s on a number of occasions this season and he’s performed very well, and we’re also very proud that he recently gained international honours with England.”
The England Under 16 international left-sided player is currently a member of Derby’s Under 16s squad, but has regularly appeared for the Under 18’s in the PDL 2 North in the opening months of the season.
He will become a full-time scholar in the Academy next summer and is fine early-season was recognised by winning a call-up to England’s U16s last month, and he was named in the starting XI as the Three Lions recorded a 5-0 win against Northern Ireland in the Victory Shield.
