Rams youngster makes an impact for England's U17s.

Derby County defender Max Lowe played 75 minutes for England’s U17s on Friday evening as they defeated Turkey 1-0 in their latest game of The FA International Tournament.

Lowe, a first-year scholar in Derby’s Academy, was called up to John Peacock’s squad earlier this month.

The left-back played the full game as England lost 3-1 to Portugal on Wednesday and he was named in the starting XI again last night against Turkey at Burton Albion’s Pirelli Stadium.

Lowe produced an accomplished display for the Three Lions and set up the only goal of the game, midway through the second half, for Adam Armstrong of Newcastle United.

England will face Italy on Sunday 1st September, again at the Pirelli Stadium, in their final game of The FA International Tournament.
