Goalkeeper makes non-league loan move
Derby County goalkeeper Mats Morch has joined non-league Gresley FC on loan until 4th January 2014.
The Norwegian shot-stopper, who is a graduate of the Rams’ Academy, is expected to go straight into their squad for Saturday’s FA Carlsberg Trophy First Round Proper game away to Wrexham.
Gresley are currently 14th in the Evo-Stik NPL Division One South and helped provide vital match experience for first-year professional Ross Etheridge earlier in the season, after the goalkeeper joined them on a three-month loan back in September.
Morch is yet to make his Rams debut after signing professional forms last season, but he has gained match experience in Derby’s Under 21 side during the last year and spent some time on loan at Burton Albion earlier in the campaign.
