Rams forward in line to land another international cap.

Derby County forward Jamie Ward has received a call-up to the Northern Ireland squad for their opening 2016 European Championships qualifier away to Hungary.

The game will be played in Budapest on Sunday 7th September 2014.

Northern Ireland are in the same qualification group as Greece, Romania, Finland, Faroe Islands and Hungary as they aim to qualify for the European Championships for the first time ever.

Ward, who has scored three goals in four league appearances for Derby this season, scored his first international goal for Northern Ireland last September against Portugal at Windsor Park.

The 28-year-old has ten full caps to his name for his country after making his bow against the Faroe Islands in 2011.
