Derby County's annual End of Season Awards event, sponsored by McAndrew Utilities, took place at the iPro Stadium on Monday evening – with Richard Keogh claiming the Rams’ Player of the Year Award.

Keogh was named as this year's winner following a consistent season on the pitch in central defence and was handed the trophy by Chairman Mel Morris.

Derby County's directors, management and players were all in attendance alongside both supporters and sponsors.

At the end of the night, Keogh told Rams Player HD: “It has been a great few days. Yesterday, my wife gave birth to our beautiful baby boy, so it has been a real whirlwind.

“I haven’t slept really in the last 24 hours. I have come here tonight and to pick up the Players’ Player of the Year and Player of the Year is special.

“These awards feel different to others that I have won before. I play in a great team, with some great people, and I can’t thank them enough for this.”

Elsewhere, full-back Cyrus Christie picked up the Young Player of the Year Award. The full-back has been in impressive form at right-back all season, both defensively and offensively, and his development has seen him further establish himself in the Republic of Ireland international squad.

The Goal of the Season Award was lifted by Bradley Johnson for his second goal against Hull City earlier this month following a vote by those in attendance on the evening.

The Players’ Player of the Year Award also went to Keogh, who was voted by the Derby squad as their top performer during the campaign.

Chris Martin lifted Highest Goalscorer Award for the third season in a row after another prolific season in front of goal, while goalkeeper Scott Carson picked up the Save of the Year for his fine stop in the 2-0 victory at Hull City in November.

Following an impressive season in Derby County Under 21s’ Barclays Under 21 Premier League - Division 2 promotion campaign, Academy graduate Callum Guy was named as the Under 21s’ Player of the Season.

The Rams' Senior Club Journalist Tom Loakes, claimed the Brain Clough Award for his off-the-field efforts while Derby County’s Under 21s were recognised once more and also lifted the President's Award following their promotion.

Academy youngsters Max Bird and Timi Max Elsnik also picked up gongs on the night; highlighting the progress they have made in the last year with the Academy Player of the Year and Scholar of the Year Awards.
