The Football League has confirmed a number of its key dates for the 2016/17 season.
As of June 2016, the Football League will be known as the English Football League (EFL) and key dates have already been mapped out for the forthcoming campaign.
The EFL season will start on the weekend of Saturday 6th August 2016 and will conclude on the weekend of Saturday 6th May 2017.
The 2016/17 season will include the traditional Boxing Day fixtures, as well as New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Bank Holiday matches.
The 2016/17 EFL fixtures will be revealed on Wednesday 22nd June 2016 and Derby County’s fixtures will be available to view first on dcfc.co.uk at 9am.
