Callum Guy has become the fourth Derby County Under-23s player to head out on loan this week after completing a switch to Bradford City.

The 21-year-old joins the Bantams in a deal until the end of the season – the second loan temporary move of his career after a positive spell with Port Vale at the back end of the 2016/17 campaign.

Guy could now make his Bradford debut on Saturday when they take on Northampton Town at the Northern Commercials Stadium in Sky Bet League 1.

The Rams midfielder joins a side pushing for promotion to the Championship just past the halfway point of the season, with Stuart McCall’s men sitting fifth in the table and just six points off the automatic promotion places.

Notably, Guy could come up against his fellow Derby team-mate Max Lowe in April. The left back joined Shrewsbury Town last week on loan and the two sides will meet in April.

Alongside Lowe, Kellan Gordon, Timi Max Elsnik (both Swindon Town), Charles Vernam (Grimsby Town), Emil Riis Jakobsen (VVV-Venlo) and Offrande Zanzala (Accrington Stanley) have also headed out on loan this month.

Derby County would like to wish Callum all the best with his loan spell.
