Derby County Community Trust have secured a place in the Virgin Money London Marathon (28th April 2019) for one dedicated supporter of our work.

We want to use the power of Derby County Football Club to improve lives through sport, physical activity and education, and you can help us!

Our programmes are wide ranging, we work with individuals from age 3 to 98, catering for a huge range of needs, from primary school children who want to improve their football skills, teenagers who want to get on the job ladder, all the way to those affected by cerebral palsy, dementia, cancer and substance addiction, to name only a few of our projects.

This is a unique opportunity to support the work of the Trust whilst taking on the challenge of a lifetime. All funds raised will go back into Derby’s local communities.

The Derby County Community Trust runner will be asked to raise a minimum of £1,500 for the Trust and pay a £50 administration fee to secure the place.

We will support our runner through training, offer advice and support on fundraising and maximise your publicity across our social media platforms. You will also receive a free entry into next year’s Derby 10K as part of your training and be invited to our annual awards dinner on 27th September 2018 to announce your exciting commitment to DCCT.

If this sounds like a challenge you can’t miss, please contact [email protected] to register your interest by Friday 24th August 2018, outlining your reasons for wanting to run for the Trust.

If successful, you’ll be contacted by Friday August 31st so you can start your training as early as you want!
