Derby County's Tom Lawrence, Joe Ledley and Harry Wilson have been named in Ryan Giggs' Wales squad for their first UEFA Nations League fixtures during September.

Wales will come up against the Republic of Ireland - and potentially Richard Keogh - on 6th September at the Cardiff City Stadium, before travelling to Aarhus to face Denmark three days later.

The trio have all been heavily involved for the Rams under Frank Lampard this term, with Lawrence in particular catching the eye with three goals in his first five league games of the season.

Wilson provided an assist for Fikayo Tomori's opener against Oldham Athletic in Round One of the Carabao Cup, whilst Joe Ledley opened the scoring against Ipswich Town earlier this month.

The Rams' No.36 could become the fifth most capped player in the history of the Welsh national team if he plays, as he currently stands just one appearance behind Craig Bellamy on 77 caps.

Lawrence has impressed recently for the Dragons with two goals in his last four games, whilst Wilson scored his first international goal against China in March.
