Derby County will be looking to earn their fourth successive victory when they head back to the KCOM Stadium on Saturday to face Hull City.

Following their Carabao Cup Round Two success earlier in the week against the same opposition, the Rams’ focus will switch back to the Sky Bet Championship (kick-off: 3pm) and here, dcfc.co.uk has gathered all the information you need ahead of the clash with Nigel Adkins’ side.

TEAM NEWS…

Tom Lawrence, who has scored three goals in five league games, will be in contention for selection after suffering a knock in training this week.

Frank Lampard is hoping to see Harry Wilson back in action after missing the last three league games with a slight muscle issue, but the boss admitted that it could be slightly too soon.

Curtis Davies and Jayden Bogle are ruled out as they continue to recover from injuries.

WHAT THE BOSS HAD TO SAY?

Speaking to RamsTV ahead of the league fixture, Lampard said: “We’ve had three good performances on the trot, with three wins, and we’ve got some important momentum now.

“It’s also important that the players continue to do the right things, so whatever team I decide on and whether there are changes or not we have to realise this is a fresh game. We should take confidence from what happened on Tuesday night, but we’re starting again now.

He added: “I would have thought Hull will make a lot of changes, like they did for the cup game.

“We didn’t come up against their best team and for perspective we need to know that.

“I think they will be strong and there’ll be a reaction whatever way you look at it, so it’ll be a tough game.”

THE LAST MEETING…

We don’t have to look back very far for the last meeting between the sides. The Rams beat Adkins' side 4-0 on Tuesday night in Round Two of the Carabao Cup.

The game saw Martyn Waghorn and Florian Jozefzoon bag their first goals for Derby while their fellow summer signing Mason Mount scored his fourth goal of the season.

Waghorn opened the scoring for the Rams in the first half with a beautiful lob, before Jozefzoon fired past the keeper to double the lead.

Duane Holmes' cross forced an own goal by Brandon Fleming to make it three and Mount added the finishing touch in the final minute as he danced around the Tigers ‘keeper before slotting home.

WHO’S THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE?
