Derby County’s Jamie Hanson has joined Sky Bet League 1 side Oxford United on a permanent basis.

The 22-year-old, capable of playing in defence or midfield, has linked up with Karl Robinson’s side for an undisclosed fee.

Hanson, a graduate of the Derby County Academy, made 35 first-team appearances for the Rams in total and also spent time on loan at Wigan Athletic during the 2016/17 season.

His single goal for Derby came on his professional debut in a 1-1 draw at Norwich City, direct from a corner, in March 2015.

Derby County would like to wish Jamie every success with his future playing career and thank him for his contribution throughout his time with the club.
