A number of Derby County players have featured for their respective countries over the past couple of days.

Central defender Richard Keogh captained his nation and kept a clean sheet last night as the Republic of Ireland drew 0-0 with Denmark.

The 32-year-old played the full 90 minutes at the Aviva Stadium and earned his 19th cap for his country.

On Thursday, Harry Wilson started for Wales in their 1-4 defeat against Spain at the Principality Stadium. He played 45 minutes, whilst Tom Lawrence was introduced on the hour mark and made an impact as Wales netted a late consolation.

A day later, Mason Mount was on the bench for England as Gareth Southgate’s side drew 0-0 with Croatia. Fikayo Tomori did not feature for Aidy Boothroyd’s Under-21 side in their 7-0 victory against Andorra in Chesterfield.

Also in action for their national sides were Alex Babos (Wales U21) and Jason Knight (Republic of Ireland U19).

Babos, out on loan at Real Union in Spain, came on with half an hour left to play but was unable to prevent his side losing 2-0 away in Romania, whilst Knight featured as an 83rd minute substitute in Ireland’s 3-0 victory over the Faroe Islands.
