Jack Marriott has been named in the EFL Team of the Week following his performance at the weekend against Sheffield Wednesday.
The striker netted what turned out to be the winner on 35 minutes as he neatly took the ball into his path following Florian Jozefzoon’s pass and clinically finished into the bottom corner from the edge of the box to make it 2-1 to the Rams.
That goal was his sixth in eight games, in all competitions, as the 24-year-old continued to impress in a Derby County shirt.
