Derby County are set to travel to Elland Road to face Leeds United in the second leg of the Sky Bet Championship Play-Off Semi-Final on Wednesday evening, 7.45pm.

At the half-way point, Frank Lampard’s side have all to play for and head into the second leg looking to overturn the one-goal deficit. Here, has gathered all the information you will need ahead of the clash with Marcel Bielsa’s side.

Martyn Waghorn was left out of the squad for the first leg clash after suffering an Achilles injury against West Bromwich Albion on the last day of the regular league season. Lampard said he will continue to be assessed ahead of the second-leg and is a maybe.

As is Ashley Cole who has been dealing with a small injury. There are no new injury concerns for Lampard.

Speaking to RamsTV, Lampard said; “I believe in the players and the important thing is what we believe in-house.

“I have seen the players, I have seen them develop and I have seen them perform so well to get into the play-offs.

“With the squad that we have, with some young players in there, and a lot of things we have overcome this season, it is one more thing to try and overcome.”

He added: “I said to the players before the match on Saturday that you can lose a play-off tie, two games against Leeds, of course you can lose it, but you have to give everything because we have managed to get into sixth place in the league. We have to give everything and we can certainly win this.

“Belief is key and we have to take belief with us to Elland Road; going there believing that we can turn the result around. What will be will be.”

The Rams will be backed by a SOLD OUT away section at Elland Road.

Derby were allocated 2,670 tickets for the game in total, however, they have all been snapped up.

You can still enjoy the game with fellow Rams fans at Pride Park Stadium. With multiple television screens showing the match coverage, if you weren’t able to secure you ticket, what better way to support the Rams than in the lounges at the stadium!

Derby County 0-1 Leeds United

On Saturday, the Whites travelled to Pride Park Stadium for the first-leg of the semi-final.

The Rams had the upper hand in the opening stages with David Nugent going close early on with his close-range effort deflected wide.

The first-half ended goalless in a hard-fought battle between both sides, but two minutes after the restart, Kemar Roofe fund the only goal of the game for Leeds when he slotted in from Jack Harrison’s cross.

In the later stages of the game, Jayden Bogle was hauled down in the box and awarded a penalty. However, after a conversation between the referee and linesman, the decision was overturned ad Derby were unable to find the equaliser.

Anthony Taylor has been appointed as the man in the middle at Elland Road. In the 48 games he has officiated this season, he has produced 163 yellow cards and eight red cards.

Taylor will be assisted by Gary Beswick and Adam Nunn on the lines, whilst Kevin Friend has been appointed as the fourth official.
