Derby County’s RamsTV picked up the Bronze Award in the ‘Best in Sports Media’ category at the 2019 Sports Business Awards on Friday afternoon.


The annual Awards Ceremony was held at The Brewery London.

RamsTV are Derby County’s in-house video production service, and as well as live streaming first-team, Under-23 and Under-18s fixtures, they also provide all pre-match and post-match visual content across club channels.

From press conferences to features such as RamsTV Meets and Rams Classics, RamsTV produce video content which is used both on the club’s official website as well as social channels.

ABB FIA Formula E Championship – Formula E TV (FETV) picked up Gold in the ‘Best in Sports Media’ category, with BBC Sport claiming silver.

European Tour/Ryder Cup Europe – PGA European Tour, FEI Website – Fédération Equestre Internationale (FEI), SportsPro Media and Derby’s RamsTV were the other nominees.


Derby County’s Head of Broadcasting Robin Matthews said: “It is testament to the hard work that goes on behind the scenes at Pride Park Stadium to see RamsTV named amongst industry-leading organisations.

“We are constantly striving to provide factual, entertaining and engaging content which suits all audiences and we’re pleased this has been recognised with this Bronze award.”
