Derby County youngsters Morgan Whittaker and Louie Sibley have been called-up to represent England Under-18s in their upcoming fixtures.


The Rams’ duo will head to Slovakia this week ahead of matches against Russia, Slovakia and Mexico in the Slovakia Cup.

It is the first England Under-18s call-up for Sibley after making five appearances for the Under-17s.

The 17-year-old midfielder has impressed for both the Derby County Under-18s and Under-23s this season, making a total 36 appearances, scoring nine goals and adding seven assists.


It is the third call-up to Neil Dewship’s side for Whittaker after making his debut in November. He scored his first international goal in a 4-1 victory against Japan in the UAE Sports Chain Cup in March.

Whittaker has had a stunning season with the Rams’ Under-18s, finishing as top goal-scorer with 24 goals while he also added 15 assists. Two of those goals and one assist came in the Premier League National Final where Derby defeated Arsenal 5-2 to become National Champions.
