Derby County youngsters Louie Sibley and Morgan Whittaker both started for England Under-18s in their 2-2 draw against Slovakia in the Slovakia Cup on Tuesday.
Having both come off the bench the day before in the 1-0 victory over Russia, Whittaker played the full 90 minutes against Slovakia while Sibley impressed in midfield in his first start for the Under-18s, playing 58 minutes.
Clinton Mola opened the scoring for the young Lions before Sebastian Gembicky equalised for the host team before Filip Lichy extended their lead. J’Neil Bennett then levelled the score in the second of three group games in the cup competition.
Neil Dewsnip’s side will be back in action on Thursday when they take on Mexico looking to book their place in the finals.
